Children are welcome to bring in a packed lunch to school or to have a school dinner, provided by our caterers, ISS Education.
A school meal currently costs £2.15 per day. An up-to-date menu is available on the link below.
If you wish your child to have school dinners, we would ask that you register them on the ISS Cypad online payment system. You can access this via www.feedinghungryminds.co.uk/online-payments. Please allow 48 hours for a confirmation email to be sent back to you from the website. Once your child has been registered you can pay for lunches and also view the available menu and pre-order lunches with your child. Alternatively your child can choose their menu choice in the classroom in the morning.
All children in Foundation (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (Years 1 &2) are entitled to a free school meal to be chosen from the available menu.
Lunch time is from 11.55am - 1.00pm. This time is split into 2 sittings, 11.55am-12.25pm and 12.30pm-1.00pm. Each term children are allocated a seat on a table in the lunch hall in either Sitting 1 or Sitting 2. Each term the sitting and the tables are shuffled. They will eat their lunch at this table for that term.
Children mostly sit in ‘family’ groupings with 1 or 2 children from each year. This is to encourage the older children to help the younger ones. Those having dinners queue up, cafeteria-style and tables include those eating packed lunches and school dinners.
For school dinner ordering (once registered):
You will need to know the school log-in details to access this service. Please ask at the School Office if you need a reminder.
